Group Fund Raising

1st Wellesbourne is a charity and we raise funds for the operation of the Group, for the Community and for good-causes which are often chosen by the young people. Below is a list of our upcoming activities.

Description: Last year the group raised £1000 for the Royal British Legion.

Fundraiser_Santa Wellesbourne Collection

2019 Wellesbourne Lions Santa Collection

Place / Date / Time: Wellesbourne village - weeknights Timings to be advised

Description: This regular community favourite house-to-house fundriaser with the Lions. The children meet Santa before bedtime and we run around with the collection buckets. In return for our efforts the Group will receive a share of the collections to raise funds for our Scout Group facilities and equipment. Teams of 4 Adults will be nominated with representatives from each section.

NB: Our collection nights will be advised nearer the time.
