Exec Team of Trustees
Our team of Trustees work behind the scenes to support the Leaders making some of the most important decisions in how your Group runs. They provide an organisational layer to ensure the team has what they need to run safe and engaging activities for your children. Being an Executive Committee member is a rewarding and challenging way to support Scouting.
We are organised with a number of sub-teams for Administration, Finances & Fundraising, Equipment & Facilities, Long-Term Projects.
Scouting is about being with friends, as part of a team, participating fully in the adventure and opportunities of life. We have a mix of Elected members and Co-Opted members. We would be delighted to hear from you if you want to get involved.

Name: Yvonne Paige-Stimson
Bio: Growing up, Yvonne was a Brownie, Guide, Young Leader and in the dance troop for the local Gang Show with fond memories of smoke-machines, lycra and sequins. She first moved across to Scouting as a Beaver Leader when she realised they were having more outdoor fun and especial enjoys the camping and canoeing. Returning to Scouts as a (*cough) grown-up when her own children were Old enough, she couldn’t wait to get involved again in the Cubs and Scouts. These days as GSL, the role is being responsible for the running of our entire Group. She believes that all children have the right to an adventure - and the only limit to what we can provide for the children is our imagination as Leaders.
Favourite Cake: All cake is wonderful, but a bit of gooey lemon drizzle, washed down with a cup of coffee is the best!
